Tehran- Set a criteria for the standardization of production, always conduct with high accuracy. This criteria is based on the needs of the province and even the country's consumer society.

IFIF Public Relations; Mohammad Reza Mortazavi mentioned the standard quality of production in Iran and said: “Iran is one of the oldest countries in the field of standardization of products and there are strict rules to comply with mandatory standards in industrial goods. So there are comprehensive rules for production units to restrict them from illegal activities. Ministry of Health, Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, standards organizations and regulatory agencies are responsible for Supervision of production and distribution units in Iran.”

“The production process of goods subject to quality standards in the all the provinces has always been dealing with a problem called “the production of illegal products”, these products made lots of problems for supervision units. Of course, big and small industrial units with a utilization profile of organizations are not excluded from the standard rules and they never distribute poor product into domestic and foreign markets. These units should obey strict rules in the field of standards mandatory. As I said lots of poor and non-standard products in unauthorized units, produced and marketed and some profiteers in the market supply these goods ans sell them for more profit. Accordingly, there should be more regulation and more stringent laws of commodity production to prevent the production of non-qualifies products and releasing them into the market.”

The chairman of the house of industry, mines and trade added: “Some production units are directly under the supervision of government agencies to produce. Some of these units use loopholes for not implementing the standards of quality. We need a specific program for these units and supervise them constantly to force them to obey standardization rules.”

“If these units refrain from obeying the rules, they would be fined and in some cases we will restrict them to continue their activities. But continuing this trend is not helpful for the process of development of Iran’s industry.” He added.

Jahangiri emphasized on tangible and intangible supervision of Standard Organization in Tehran and said: “this organization is making profiles for offending units. We will hold some meetings with these units and give them a serious notification. After solving the problems, we will extend their standard license. But if we give them further notifications, we will void their license and forbid them from future production.”

“The best solution for decreasing the number of closed units is discussing their problems and resolving them in the production line. In this case, manufactures can get their license back and start the production line again.”
